Privacy Policy.

The Gold Standard Index® ("GSI," "the Index") is operated by Aisle3, Inc. ("Aisle3," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect through goldstandardindex.com and the Gold Standard Diagnostic program, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide

When you apply for a Diagnostic or sign up for the Benchmark Report, we collect the information you submit: your name, work email, role, company or brand name, website, category, revenue range, and anything you tell us about your business in free-text fields. When you schedule a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email, and selected time.

Amazon account data

If your brand is accepted into the Diagnostic program, you grant us read-only access to your Amazon accounts through Amazon's own authorization systems. We use this data solely to compute your score, produce your Diagnostic, and re-score your business on an ongoing basis while access remains in place. Access is revocable by you at any time. We never receive or store your Amazon login credentials.

How we use information

• To review applications, deliver Diagnostics, and operate the scoring pipeline.
• To send the communications you signed up for, including the Benchmark Report and updates about your Diagnostic. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To publish aggregate, anonymized benchmarks. Published benchmarks never identify an individual brand and cannot be reverse-engineered to reveal one.
• To improve the Index methodology and our services.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as our email platform, scheduling provider, and hosting infrastructure) under agreements that limit their use of it, and where required by law.

Retention

We keep application and contact information for as long as needed to operate the program and meet legal obligations. If you revoke Amazon account access, we stop collecting new account data; you may also request deletion of previously collected account data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email gsi@aisle3.com. We respond to every verified request.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the operators who need it, and account-level data is never shared outside Aisle3. More detail is on our Data & Security page.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
